Always shave the area that is to be treated and make sure the skin is
clean and dry before using the appliance.
On the face, if the dark hair to treat is sparse and there is little of it, you
don't need to shave the area; simply trim the hair with scissors. If the hair
is very short (about 1mm) and not too thick, you don't need to shave or
trim them.
Cover any birthmark and tattoos before using the appliance.
Cover dark brown or black spots, such as large freckles, a birthmark,
moles or warts before using the appliance.
Never use flammable liquid, such as alcohol, products containing
alcohol (including perfume, sanitary products, etc.) or acetone to clean
the skin before using the appliance.
Do not use the appliance on any part of the body where you may wish
hair to grow eventually.
THE pATCH TEST
It is recommended to perform a patch test before starting treatment, in
order to identify the maximum tolerance of your skin to light pulses. Refer to
"Information before use" for instructions regarding the patch test.

DURING TREATMENT

Do not treat the same section of skin more than once per hair
removal session!
Do not overlap the pulses!
STOP USING THE APPLIANCE IMMEDIATELY if blisters form or the
skin burns.
Always make sure that the treatment surface (1A) is pointed towards the

skin and is entirely in contact with it.
Remove the treatment surface (1A) from the skin if either (1A) becomes
excessively hot.

AFTER TREATMENT

Do not expose the skin to the sun and/or tanning beds after
treatment.
In case of exposure to the sun during the two weeks following a treatment
session, protect the treated skin with sun cream SPF 30 or higher.
ATTENTION: treatment may cause a temporary change in pigmentation
(refer to "Possible side effects").

pOSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Side effects and complications associated with the appliance are rare when
used according to the instructions.
However, any cosmetic procedure, including those intended for home use,
pose a potential risk. It is therefore important to understand and acknowledge
the risks and complications that may occur when using pulsed light epilation
systems designed for home use.
