GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS FOR
EN
ELECTRICAL TOOLS
Read all warnings and safety instructions. Failure to heed warnings or
FR
follow instructions can result in electric shock, fire, and / or serious
injury.
Save the warnings and safety instructions for future reference.
The term "power tool" in safety warnings refers to your mains-operated
(corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
SAFETY IN THE WORK AREA
• Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas cause
accidents.
• Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in
the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools
create sparks that can ignite dust or fumes.
• Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
• The plug of the power tool must match the base of the outlet.
Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use a plug adapter with
grounded power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching bases will
reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Avoid or body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes,
radiators, electric ranges, and refrigerators. There is an increased
risk of electric shock if your body is grounded.
• Do not expose tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering the
tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
• Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord to carry, lift or unplug
the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or
moving parts. Damaged or tangled cords increase the risk of
electric shock.
• When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension suitable
for outdoor use. Using an extension cord suitable for outdoor use
reduces the risk of electric shock.
• If the use of a tool in a humid location is unavoidable, use a power
supply protected by a residual current device (RCD). Using an RCD
reduces the risk of electric shock.
PERSONAL SECURITY
Instruction manual
USE AND CARE OF TOOLS
• Be alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense
when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool when you
are tired, under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
A moment of distraction while operating power tools can cause
serious personal injury.
• Wear personal safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. The
use of safety equipment such as a dust mask, non-slippery shoes,
helmet or hearing protection for the appropriate conditions will
reduce personal injury.
• Avoid accidental start. Make sure the switch is in the "open"
position before connecting to the mains and / or battery, picking
up or transporting the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger
on the switch or plugging in power tools that have the switch in
the "closed" position causes accidents.
• Remove any wrench or adjusting tool before starting the power
tool. A wrench or tool attached to a rotating part of a power tool
can cause personal injury.
• Don't overdo it. Keep your feet firmly on the ground and maintain
balance at all times. This allows better control of the power tool
in unexpected situations.
• Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep
your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose
clothing, jewelry, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
• If there is availability for the connection of dust extraction and
collection media, make sure that these are connected and used
correctly. The use of these devices can reduce the risks related
to dust.
• Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your
application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer
at the rate for which it was designed.
• Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn "closed" and
"open". Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch
is dangerous and must be repaired.
• Unplug the plug from the power source and / or battery before
making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power
tools. Such preventative safety measures reduce the risk of
accidentally starting the tool.
• Store inactive power tools out of the reach of children and do
not allow power tools to be operated by people unfamiliar with
the tools or these instructions. Power tools are dangerous in the
hands of untrained users.
