• For indoor or outdoor use
• Temperature display
3. For your safety
• This product is exclusively intended for the range of application described above. It should only be used as
described within these instructions.
• Unauthorized repairs, alterations or changes to the product are prohibited.
Caution!
Risk of injury:
• Keep this instrument and the batteries out of reach of children.
• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, this can lead to
serious internal burns and death within two hours. If you suspect a battery could have been swallowed or other-
wise caught in the body, seek medical help immediately.
• Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking. Never use a combina-
tion of old and new batteries together, nor batteries of different types. Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves

5. Getting started
5.1 Insert the batteries
• Open the battery compartment of the transmitter (screwed) and receiver and place both instruments on a desk
with a distance of approximately 1.5 meter. Avoid being close to possible sources of interference such as elec-
tronic devices and radio equipment.
• Insert 2 x AAA 1,5 V batteries first into the battery compartment of the transmitter and immediately afterwards the
batteries in the base station, observing the correct polarity.
5.2 Reception of the temperature values
• When powered up, the base station enters into learning mode to learn the sensors security code.
• The transmitter will transmit the temperature 16 times every 8 sec. (later every 48 seconds).
• Note: DO NOT PRESS ANY KEY during the first 10 minutes learning period. After the temperature is displayed
on the base station, you can place your transmitter at the final destination. If the temperature is not displayed or
if any key is pressed before the weather station receives the signal, or when changing batteries you will need
to follow the battery installation procedure again. Please wait 10 seconds before inserting the batteries again.

5.3 Additional transmitters
• If you like to connect additional remote sensors (max. 3), repeat the installation procedure for all extra sensors.
However, ensure that you leave 10 seconds in between the reception of the last sensor and the set-up of the
following sensor. The transmitters will be numbered in the order of set-up automatically.
6. Positioning of transmitter
• When placed outdoors, choose a shady and dry place for the transmitter. Direct sunlight may trigger incorrect
measurement and continuous humidity damages the electronic components needlessly.
• Once the desired location is chosen, check whether the transmission from the transmitter to the base station is
possible (transmission range of up to 100m in open areas). Within solid walls, especially ones with metal parts,
the transmission range can be reduced considerably.
• If necessary choose another position for the transmitter and/or base station.
• If the transmission is successful, you can attach the holder to the wall with 3 screws and insert the transmitter.
7. Care and maintenance
• Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period of time.
• Keep the device in a dry place.
8. Waste disposal
This product has been manufactured using high-grade materials and components which can be recycled and
reused.
