OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Puller Setup
1. Locate Part to be Removed and Determine Which Set of Pulling Jaws Will Best Fit Application. Install Pulling Jaws onto Puller Cross Block Using the 2
Supplied Detent Pins. Pulling Jaws are Reversable. (Outward for Bearings, Races and Seals / Inward for Pulleys, Dampers, ETC...) See figure 1.
2. Open and Slide Centering Yolk Between Pulling Jaws, Install Beveled Washers onto Threads Outside of Pulling Jaws with the Beveled End Facing Inward,
Followed by the Retaining Nuts to Secure (Finger Tight Only at This Time). See figure 1.
3. Install Forcing Screw with Tip Through Center of Puller Cross Block. (it is Good Practice to Lubricate the Threads of the Pulling Tool Before Every Use).

4. Secure Pulling Jaws onto Item Being Removed and Hand tighten Forcing Screw until it Stops Against the Part Being Removed. Tighten Nuts on Outside of
Pulling Jaws until Snug and Jaws Have a Firm Grip. See figure 2.
5. With a 14mm Wrench or Ratchet and Socket, Begin to Tighten Forcing Screw While Ensuring Pulling Jaws Remain Attached to Part Being Removed. See figure 3.
6. Using a Wrench or Long Handled Ratchet and Socket Tighten Forcing Screw Until Item Being Removed Becomes Free. Be Sure to Hold on to The Part
(Bearing / Pulley) During the Removal Process as it Could Fall and Become Damaged. See figure 4.
