Adjustable Bearing Race & Seal Tool
Adjusts to: 0.73 to 3.5 in. (1.85 to 8.89 cm)
1) Make sure the lock collar is loosened before trying to adjust
sizing. (counter clockwise). See Fig 2
2) Rotate the outer Ring to adjust tool to proper size for Bearing
Race or Seal. The sides of the bearing race should rest on the flat
surface of the Installer Tool head. (Anodized Red Part). See Fig
1a, 1b, and 1c
3) Lock the tool in the desired position by retightening the locking
collar on the handle by turning it clock wise until tight. Check
to make sure the tool is locked in position by trying to turn the
larger outer ring. It should not move. See Fig 2
WARNING: If product comes lose after striking, a 2.5mm hex
key can be used on the set screw beneath the collar.
4) Place bearing race or seal on the head of the installer tool and
line up with application. See Fig 3
5) Use a hammer or mallet to strike the end of the handle to
complete installation. Check to make sure the bearing race or seal
is installed properly and flush with the installation surface.
