Check ladder after delivery. Before every
use, check ladder for damage and safety
of use. Do not use ladder if damaged.
Note the maximum load.
Hold on tight when climbing on and off
and while working on the ladder.
Avoid work that places excessive load
on the sides of the ladder, e.g. drilling
sideways through solid materials.
Do not wear heavy or unwieldy
equipment when using the ladder.
Wear suitable shoes when climbing the
ladder.
Do not use the ladder in the event of
physical limitations. Certain health
conditions, medications and alcohol or
drug abuse can lead to safety risks when
using the ladder.
Assess all the risks caused by electrical
equipment in the work area, e. g.
high-voltage overhead power lines or
other exposed electrical equipment,
and do not use the ladder if there is a
risk of electrical current.
Do not use the ladder to bridge gaps.
Ladders with rungs must be used at the
correct angle.
Step ladders must be used with the
steps in a horizontal position.
Do not use the ladder on uneven or
unstable ground.
Do not lean out to the side.
Do not use the ladder on soiled surfaces.
Observe the maximum number of users.
Keep your eyes on the ladder when
climbing on or off.
Ladders for access to greater heights
must extend at least 1 m beyond the
contact point and secured, if necessary.
Only use the ladder in the specified
installation position, if so required by
design.
Do not lean the ladder against
unsuitable surfaces.
Do not stand on the top three rungs/
steps of the ladder.
Locking devices must be fully secured
before use, if this does not occur
automatically.
Only use the ladder with the supplied
platform extension.
Ladders with this labelling can be used
in both commercial and private use.
Locking mechanisms for all extended
rungs/steps must be checked and
locked before use.
Do not place your hands/fingers
between the rungs (shearing zone) when
placing the ladder in position for use.
Do not stand on the last metre of the
telescopic ladder.
