WIRING
The LiftMaster CPICARD is used to connect the LC-36A and CPS-OPEN4 to a non-monitored operator. The CPICARD separates the
incoming and outgoing logic, minimizing interference. The CPICARD accepts both pulsed and normally open contact devices which
appear to the operator as normally open devices.
Refer to the manual for your specific operator's wiring diagram.
1. Disconnect power to the operator.
2. Connect the EDGE and COMMON terminals on the operator to
the SENSING EDGE INPUT terminals on the CPICARD.
3. Connect the black and white wires from the LC-36A receiver
(Red Cable), to the INFRARED BLACK OR BROWN and
INFRARED WHITE OR BLUE terminals on the CPICARD
respectively.
4. Connect the blue wires from the LC-36A transmitter and
receiver to the +24V terminal on the CPICARD.
5. Connect the brown wires from the LC-36A transmitter and
receiver to the COMMON terminal on the CPICARD.
