The AeroEclipse ® R BAN can be operated in the continuous mode (producing constant
aerosol) by rotating the mode switch 90° clockwise to the continuous mode position.
The nebulizer can be returned to the breath actuated mode position be rotating the
mode switch 90° counterclockwise to the breath actuated position. These illustrations
(1d and 1e) can be found on page 2.
In the continuous mode, the nebulizer may be used with the ComfortSeal ® reusable
mask or the AeroEclipse ® (or standard) disposable mask. Refer to Set-Up, Step 2 on
how to properly use a mask with the nebulizer.

Cleaning Your Nebulizer:
You should clean your nebulizer before first use and between each treatment. The
mode switch should be rotated to the breath actuated position for both washing and
drying cycles.
1. Remove the tubing from the bottom of the nebulizer.
2. Gently untwist and remove the nebulizer top and mouthpiece from the nebulizer cup
and wash the nebulizer parts in a warm water and liquid dish detergent solution.
3. Rinse in clean, warm water and shake out excess water.
4. Allow the nebulizer parts to air dry thoroughly (minimum of 30 minutes) before
reassembling. The components may also be dried with a clean, lint-free cloth prior to
reassembly.
5. You may also wash the nebulizer parts (with the exception of the tubing) by placing
them in a dishwasher basket in the top rack of a dishwasher. It may be washed in a
normal wash cycle, and once the wash cycle is complete, remove the parts from the
basket, shake out any excess water and allow to dry as indicated in step 4.
