INSTALLINg THE CArAbINErS

Carabiners are used to connect the rescue bridles to the tandem spreaders.
Carabiners must be discarded and replaced after 500 hours of flight time or 5 years of use.
The carabiners are delivered as an option with the Rescue Backpack.
We offer 2 different optional carabiners:
- Screwlock AUSTRIALPIN Rockit carabiners (2x63g)
These aluminum carabiners connect to the rescue
bridles. Use carabiners with a minimum breaking strength
of 24 kN.
To install them, please see the photo and use the 2 pieces
of hypalon included with the Rescue Backpack.
- Nodus T-Lock textile carabiners (2x35g)
The textile Dyneema carabiners are connected permanently to the tandem spreaders. To
install them, please refer to the instructions in the following photos.

INSTALLINg THE DYNEEMA CArAbINErS

Installation on the central attachment point (main canopy) of the tandem spreader. Use
the included plastic wires.
Once installed, the Dyneema carabiners stay permanently installed on the spreaders.
To connect the Dyneema carabiners with the rescue parachute bridles before launch, guide
them through the loop before passing them through the T-Lock.
