The Rescue Backpack can be carried by the
tandem passenger. The pocket allows stowing the
passenger's String harness and some clothing...
The backpack cover must be removed from its
zipped pocket to cover the Rescue Backpack by
attaching it at the bottom of the backpack. It allows,
above all, protecting the rescue handle to prevent an
accidental deployment during the hike.
The backpack has 4 bungee attachments to hold the hiking
poles and an elastic net to carry some clothing.
Shoulder straps can be adjusted as needed.
The chest strap makes carrying the backpack more
comfortable.

You can stow the rescue bridle inside the
storage pouch to avoid any inconveniences
during the hike. Please see p 34.

Flight mode

Remove the backpack cover and stow it in the
zipped pocket.
Take the rescue bridles out of the storage pouch.
Stow away your glider rucksack.
Place the rescue backpack on your back and
close the chest strap.
While you prepare to fly, place the carabiners on the
straps placed on the shoulder straps. This makes it easier
to untangle, set up, and connect the glider, the pilot, and
the passenger.
Once everything is in place, you
may connect the rescue bridles
to the tandem spreaders.
You are now ready to launch.
Have a nice fl ight.
