Assemble Casters

WARNING

Use two or more people to move and assemble cabinet
or locker.
Failure to do so can result in back or other injury.
1. Close and lock the cabinet doors.
NOTE: If you need to open the cabinet doors during caster assembly,
open them slowly and do not put any weight on the open doors. This
will help avoid damage to the hinges.
2. Using 2 or more people, place the cabinet on its back using the
cardboard corners to the cushion cabinet. Discard the cardboard
bottom.
3. Insert the carriage-head bolts into the keyhole slots and slide to
narrow end, seating the bolts in place as shown.
4. Attach the 2 rigid casters (with side brakes) to the front location and
start the 4 self-locking nuts for each caster.
5. Hold the caster in place making sure the bolts are seated in the
narrow ends of the keyhole slots. Tighten the self-locking nuts with a
⁷⁄₁₆ in. socket wrench.
6. Repeat the above steps to attach the 2 swivel casters to the rear
caster location as shown.

NOTE: The cabinet may roll when moving it to an upright position. Block
the back wheels to avoid rolling.
7. Return the cabinet to its upright position.

IMPORTANT: The rear cabinet wall must be placed flush against the
garage wall for attachment. Some walls have obstructions, such as a
baseboard or foundation footing, that keep the cabinet from fitting flush
against the wall. If an obstruction exists, it may be necessary to build the
wall out at least flush to the obstruction.

Attach Cabinet to Standard Wall

Permanent Attachment - Using Lag Screws
Use the large, round holes located at the top and bottom of the rear
cabinet wall to permanently attach the cabinet to the garage wall
studs.
This cabinet is designed to be attached to walls with 16 in. or 24 in.
centered studs.
Locate the wood studs in your garage wall.
Move the cabinet against the wall and align the large, round holes in
the rear cabinet wall with the wood studs. Mark the location of the
holes with a pencil.
NOTE: Use 2 upper and 2 lower hole locations. Do not use the 4
small holes around the keyhole slots.
Move the cabinet away from the wall and drill (4) ³⁄₁₆ in. pilot holes in
the garage wall where marked.
Attach the cabinet to the garage wall using the (4) ¹⁄₄ in. flat washers
and the (4) lag screws.
Using a ⁷⁄₁₆ in. wrench, fully tighten the screws.
Temporary Attachment - Using Theft Deterrent Latches
Use the keyhole slots in the rear cabinet wall to attach the cabinet to
your garage wall studs.
This cabinet is designed to be attached to walls with 16 in. or 24 in.
centered studs.
Locate the wood studs in your garage wall.
Move the cabinet against the wall and align the keyhole slots in the
rear cabinet wall with the wood studs.
NOTE: Use 2 keyhole slots (1 upper and 1 lower) that align with the
wall stud spacing.
Using a pencil, mark the wall through the 4 holes surrounding the
keyhole slots.
Move the cabinet away from the wall.
Using (4) #8 x 2 in. drywall screws for each latch, attach the 2 latches
to the wall in the marked locations.
Move the cabinet against the wall allowing the latches to come
through the keyhole slots.
Fasten the cabinet to the wall by turning each latch to its horizontal
position.
