Wire Binding
•
Load the rear cover onto the wire element and lower it towards
the front of the machine. [Fig. 8]
•
Load the front cover onto the wire element.
•
Load the internal sheets onto the wire element, repeating until all
are loaded.
•
Open the hinged cover at the front of the machine to reveal the
wire binding channel.
•
Support the document whilst lifting the wire element off the wire
support feature.
•
Continue to support the document whilst inserting the wire
element, open face downwards, into the wire binding channel.
[Fig. 9]
•
Pull the handle down to close the binding jaws then return the
handle to the vertical position.
•
Remove the bound document and flip the rear cover to the back
of the document. The seam of the closed wire element should be
on the inside of the rear cover and not on the outside of the
document.

Emptying the Waste Tray
Important: The waste tray must ONLY be emptied with the machine
supported in a upright position.
•
Stand the machine upright.
•
Unclip the tray from the underside of the machine. [Fig. 11]
•
When refitting the tray ensure that it clicks firmly into place before
returning the machine to normal operation.
The tray has a scale to show when it is full. For best results, empty it
regularly.
