4 | Installation

The WiFi adapter has three status LEDs.
The colours that light up indicate the
status of the corresponding fuctions:

4.1 Mount WiFi adapter

DANGER
High voltages when connecting to the
mains power
Danger to life due to high voltage.
Disconnect from the power supply.

Make sure the unit is disconnected

from the power.

The unit to which the WiFi adapter is
to be connected is switched off and
voltage-free.

The electrical compartment is open.
1. Screw the two antennas onto the WiFi
adapter.
2. Pierce the second perforation for the
cable gland with a suitable tool. Attach
the cable gland to the broken out posi-
tion. Insert the cable with both plugs
from below through the bottom of the
unit into the unit [
3. Plug the current limiter module into
the cable [

4. Plug the current limiter into the board

the cable tie at the top left.
5. Carry out the setup of the WiFi ad-
apter (see 4.2 Setting up the WiFi ad-
apter).
6. Plug in the Ethernet cable

7. Roll up the cables outside the unit.
8. Clean the adhesive surface with the
cleaning cloth. Place the WiFi adapter
in the correct position [

The WiFi adapter can be glued or
screwed at selected positions. We
recommend mounting it on the
side of UltraVent hoods (1), in the
centre on the rear of the base
frames (2) or on the wall (3).
