fITTING THE MAKO CARRYCOT (see illustrations 1 - 13)
• Place the safety locks in their front and back locations (fig.1).
NOTE: The open part (the red part) of the belt safety fasteners should
be facing the backrest of the seat.
• Fasten the seat belts on the back seat and place the carrycot on
the seat (fig.2).
• Pull the diagonal and abdominal parts of the seat belt (fig.3) until
they are sufficiently long (fig.4).
• Then make a loop in the abdominal belt (fig.5) and turn it (fig.6).
• Place the loop in front of the safety lock (fig.7).
• Pass the loop through the metal part (coloured red) of the safety
lock, as shown in the picture (fig.8).
• Take the seat belt towards the backrest (fig.9).
• Pull the diagonal part of the seat belt until it is correctly tightened
(fig.10).
• Check that the loop and the seat belt are tightened correctly, as
shown in the picture (fig.11).
• Repeat the same operation on the other rear seat belt.
• Secure the baby with the adjustable belt of the carrycot (fig.12-
13).
ADJUSTING THE INNER BACKREST (see illustrations 14 - 15)
• Pulling the plastic zip situated to the rear/upper part of the baby, will
adjust the tilt of the backrest (fig. 14).
• To lower the backrest, press the buttons situated on both sides of
the zip lock, pressing the backrest at the same time (fig. 15).
WARNING: while the Mako carrycot is in use in the vehicle, the
backrest should always be in the horizontal position.
