Lower Chute
Normal Mowing Heights
1. Raise the mower deck to its highest cutting
height.
2. Check the position of the deck gauge wheels.
If necessary, move the right gauge wheel to
one of the two lower holes.
3. Raise and hold the deflector shield in the
upright position.
4. Position the lower chute over the mower
opening and align the holes on the lower
chute with the holes on the mower.
5. Insert the bolts (E) through the mower and
chute and fasten with knobs (F).

ASSEMBLY
Very Low Mowing Height - as for before,
aeration or overseeding.
1. Raise the mower deck to its highest cutting
height.
2. Check the position of the deck gauge wheels.
If necessary, move the gauge wheels to the
upper holes.
3. Raise and hold the deflector shield in the
upright position.
4. Position the lower chute over the mower
opening and align the holes on the lower
chute with the holes on the mower.
5. Insert the bolts (E) through the mower and
chute and fasten with wing nuts (G).
