The alarm should be mounted at least 7 feet above ground level for best visibility. ‡ The alarm may be mounted directly to the drench shower piping using the supplied mounting hardware (see Figure 1 on page 4).

The flow switch is designed to withstand such a water hammer, but using the smaller eye wash flow is recommended.
