• Do not leave the device unattended when it is in operation.
• Only store the device in locations, which are out of reach of
children.
• If you have health concerns of any kind, contact your general
practitioner.
• People with eye- or retinal diseases, with optic nerve impair-
ments as well as diabetics or people with similar health prob-
lems need to check with their doctor beforehand, if the use of
this device is uncritical for them.
• The light tube contains a small amount of mercury sealed within
the glass tubing, when a tube breaks in your home, some of this
mercury is released as mercury vapor. To minimize exposure to
mercury vapor, we recommend that you leave the room and
that you airing out the room for at least 10 minutes by opening a
window or door to the outdoor environment. Shut off the central
forced air heating/ air-conditioning system, if you have one.
