3.2 EXAMPLE OF INSTALLATION

The programmable cluster headend unit can be used where there are channels in the UHF band that are
received with different powers and from several directions.
Therefore, it fi lters the channels (groups of adjacent channels) and independently equalizes the output level
of the various clusters. The signals are then mixed, amplifi ed and distributed.
In the installation example described below (see fi g. 3.3), we consider a FRPRO 06 that uses two UHF anten-
nas, a VHF antenna and an FM antenna for the radio channels. On inputs UHF1 and UHF2, 6 clusters can be
programmed. In the AUX (auxiliary) input, the Audio/Video signal of a camera is mixed.
For the correct programming of the Profi ler headend, proceed as follows:
1. Connect the Profi ler unit to the electric network.

Alternatively to item 4, load a confi guration made by the programming software onto the Profi ler (see chapter
6) or a confi guration that has been previously saved from a product of the FRPRO series (see paragraph
5.2.3).
