SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND REGULATIONS

To ensure optimal working and safety conditions, please read the following sections
carefully
One of the fundamental factors in safety is adherence to the maintenance frequency (see
maintenance table). In addition, never attempt to carry out repairs or maintenance opera-
tions, if you are lacking experience and/or the tools required
ELECTROCUTION
During use, generator sets output electrical power.
- Never touch bare cables or disconnected connections.
- Never handle a generator set while your hands or feet are wet
- Never expose the equipment to liquid projections or adverse weather conditions or place
it on a wet floor. Keep electrical cables and connections in good condition.
- Using equipment in poor condition may result in electrocutions or damage to the equip-
ment.
- Provide a differential protective device between the generator set and the equipment is
the length of the operating cable(s) is over 1 metre.
- Use flexible and resistant cables with a rubber sheath, in compliance with IEC 245-4 or
equivalent cables.
- The generator set must not be connected to other power sources such as the mains
network. In specific cases in which a backup connection to electrical networks is provided
for, it must only be carried out by a qualified electrician, who must take the functional
differences of the equipment into consideration, depending on whether the mains network
or the generator set is used.
- Electric shock protection depends on circuit breakers provided specially for the generator
set. If the circuit breakers need to be replaced, they must be replaced by a circuit breaker
with identical rated values and specifications.
