INSTALLATION
− Fit the gasket (1).
− Fit the electric heater element, complete with flange (2),
in the storage cylinder.
− Align the hole (H) in the flange (2) and the hole (I) in the
gasket (1) with the hole (L) in the flange of the storage
cylinder.
− Fasten the flange of the electric heater element with the
nuts (D) removed previously (tightening torque 14 to 15
Nm).

Fill the boiler and check the hydraulic sealing of the seals
(flange and heating element).
INSTALLATION ON TYPE 2 STORAGE CYLINDER
− Remove the cover (A) of the flange with the insulation (B)
− An M8 screw (C) is fitted onto the insulation (B) for remov-
ing the flange.

Keep the M8 screw (C) for use for future inspections.
− Undo the screws (D).
− Remove the flange (E) from the storage cylinder, tighten-
ing the M8 screw (C) into the threaded hole (F).
− Check the sealing wear condition (G) and if necessary re-
place it with the one supplied with the accessory.

Keep the screws (D), as they will be used later to fasten the
element.
− Fit the gasket (1).
− Fit the electric heater element, complete with flange (2),
in the storage cylinder.
− Align the hole (H) in the flange (2) and the hole (I) in the

cylinder.
− Fasten the flange of the electric heater element with the
screws (D) removed previously (tightening torque 14 to 15
Nm).
