3.2. Safety Recommendations - Work Environment

• Keep the environment clean and organised.
• Pay attention to where the power cable is passed. This must not obstruct the
circulation space or suffer the risk of damage during work.
• Keep outsiders, animals and children away from the workplace.
• Do not use in an explosive environment, with flammable chemicals, vapours or dusts.
• Do not use near combustible and flammable materials.
• Do not use in rainy conditions, wet or moist environments.
• Keep the place well lit.
• Keep the place well ventilated.
When drilling any wall, make sure there is no passage of water, gas or electricity
pipelines in the line of the hole. A metal detector can be used to aid in this verification.
Drilling, hammering, demolition operations, among others, create dust that may
contain chemicals that are harmful to health. To reduce risks, depending on the
amount of dust generated and frequency of exposure, it is recommended to use masks
that filter particles as well as keep the area ventilated and clean.
