There is also a health risk if unsuitable cleaning
agents are used:
• Only cleaning agents and utensils specified in this
manual should be used for cleaning the appliance.
• Do not use any steam cleaning appliances for
cleaning.
Danger of damage to the unit
Incorrect handling of the appliance can cause
damage:
• Always place the unit on a dry, level, non-slip and
heat-resistant surface.
• Before the appliance is stored away, remove the
plug from the socket and allow the unit to cool
down completely.
• To prevent the appliance from overheating,
ensure that the ventilation slots are not obstructed
in any way.
In case of a defective appliance
A defective appliance can cause material damage
and injury:
• WARNING: Do not use the cooking appliance,
if the door or its seals show any sign of damage,
but have it repaired by qualified personnel.
• Check the device for damage prior to every
use. In the event that you detect damage due to
transport, immediately contact the dealer where
you have purchased the device.
• Never operate a defective device. Never operate
a device that has fallen down.
• If the power cord of the unit shows any
sign of damage, it must be replaced by the
manufacturers or by Customer Service, or
similarly qualified personnel to avoid any danger.
• Any maintenance or repair work requiring the
removal of any microwave radiation protection
cover represents a serious hazard to unqualified
persons. The unit must not be opened, except by
qualified personnel.
