Transformer – short circuit-proof
A transformer in which the temperature
does not exceed specified limits if the
transformer is overloaded or short-circuit-
ed, and which continues to meet all the re-
quirements specified in the relevant stand-
ard once the overload or short circuit has
been rectified.
Energy efficiency level VI
Energy efficiency levels are used to de-
scribe the efficiency levels of internal and
external power supply units. Energy effi-
ciency is sub-divided into a number of cat-
egories, where Level VI is the most effi-
cient.
