Brake Control Wiring Harness
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Locate the vehicles OEM brake control connector
under the dash behind the hood
release latch (Fig. 1). The
connector will be similar to that
found on the Brake Control Wiring
Harness and designed to mate with
it (Fig. 2). Refer to the vehicles
owners manual for additional
information in locating this
connector.
3. Connect the Brake Control
Harness wires to the wires on the
Electric Brake Control (not
supplied) in the following manner by using the butt
connectors (provided):
Adapter
Black
White
Red
Blue
Caution: The above referenced brake control wire
colors are for reference only. Verify the correct
Brake Control
Black
White
Red
Blue
Function
12v (+)
Ground (-)
Brake Signal from Vehicle
