Air filter
The air filter must be regularly cleaned to remove dust
and dirt in order to avoid:
• Carburettor malfunctions.
• Starting problems.
• Loss of engine power.
• Unnecessary wear to engine parts
• Excessive fuel consumption.
Clean the filter every 25 hours, or more regularly if
conditions are exceptionally dusty.
Cleaning the air filter
Remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. Wash it
clean in warm, soapy water.
IMPORTANT! Use only HUSQVARNA replacement
parts. Use of other brands of replacement parts can
cause damage to your unit or injury to the operator or
others. Your warranty does not cover damage or liability
caused by the use of accessories and/or attachments
not specifically recommended by HUSQVARNA.

Gear

IMPORTANT!
All service on the saw head must be carried out by an
authorized Husqvarna dealer. Always use Husqvarna's
original grease to prevent damage to the gear in the saw
head.
Use grease with part number: 579 06 49-01
