SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Never use the device after the power cable has been damaged, the device has been dropped or come into
contact with water.
•
Remove the power plug from the power socket if the device is not in use.
•
The device must not be used by infants and small children (0-3 years).
•
This device can be used by children from the age of eight and people with limited physical, sensory
or intellectual capabilities or with lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or have received extensive instructions in how to use the device by this person in
such a manner that they understand the associated risks.
•
Children must not play with the device.
•
Cleaning and maintenance work must not be carried out by children without supervision.
•
An electrical device is not a toy. Children do not realise the risks which may result from using
electrical devices. Therefore use and store the device out of reach of children.
•
Disconnect the device from the power supply system before cleaning it. During cleaning, make sure that no
liquids come into contact with the switch and that the device is only used in an absolutely dry condition.
•
Do not insert any needles or pointed objects into the device.

Never leave the device unattended if children or people unskilled in operating this device are around.
•
Only use the device for applications described in these instructions for use.
•
Never allow children to play with the packaging material, as there is a risk of suffocation.
•
Do not place or use the device on hot surfaces or next to open gas flames to ensure that the housing does
not melt.
•
Do not store the device next to a washbasin or bathtub, since there is the risk that it can fall or be drawn into
the washbasin or bathtub.
•
Please consult a doctor before using the device if you suffer from medical conditions such as varicose veins,
thrombosis etc.
•
Never use the device on open wounds, burns, haematomata, swellings or similar injuries.
•
Immediately stop using the device if it feels uncomfortable for you. Heat-sensitive people in particular should
use the device carefully and only for short periods of application.
•
The electric and magnetic fields generated by the heating blanket may interfere with the proper functioning
of a cardiac pacemaker under certain circumstances. However, they do not exceed the limit values. Please
consult your doctor and the manufacturer of your cardiac pacemaker before using the heating blanket.

Never use the device on animals.

In order to ensure the proper functioning of the control element, do not place it on or underneath the device.

Never use the heating pad while it is folded, rumpled or pushed together.

The device must not be used by small children from the age of three unless the settings have been preset by
a parent or legal guardian or unless the child has been sufficiently trained and instructed in how to operate
