Do not attempt to override the operation of the safety switch button or bail lever.
4. Self-propelled mowing
a. To engage the self-propelled feature:
•
Option 1: When the cruise control switch (Q) is off, push and hold the self-propel paddle (P)
forward with your thumb.
•
Option 2: Pull the bail lever (A), then push the paddle (P) and release.
•
Option 3: Press the cruise control switch (Q) to right, pull the bail lever (A), then push the paddle
(P) and release.
. To adjust the speed of self-propelled feature:

Move the speed controls (O) toward the Rabbit Symbol to increase speed.
•
Move the speed controls (O) toward the Turtle Symbol to decrease speed.
To disengage the self-propelled feature:

When the control button (Q) is on
•
Option 1: Release the bail lever (A) to close the self-propel system.
•
Option 2: Press the cruise control switch (Q) to close the self-propel system.
•
Option 3: Press the self-propel paddle (P) and release.
When the cruise control switch (Q) is off
•
Release the self-propel paddle (P) to close the self-propel system.
