Installation and regulation of power tool
elements
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Do not draw up the fastening elements
too tight to avoid damaging the thread.
Carriage position (see fig. 1)
The power tool can be moved only when positioned
for carriage (the body pulled down and fixed). When
moved, the power tool has to be held only by carrying
handle 5, or underneath base plate 9
Before starting any work, position the power tool for
operation, follow these actions:
• slightly press handle 21;
• move lock 26 as shown onto fig. 1. Rotate lock 26
by 90° in any direction and press lightly to fix it in
this position;
• lift the body up smoothly;
• to position the power tool for carriage, do the
indicated operations in a reverse order
Dust bag mounting / dismounting (see fig. 2)
Before operation put dust bag 30 on dust removing
coupler 24 (see fig. 2). Dump and clean dust bag 30
in due time
Extension bracket mounting / dismounting (see
fig. 3-4)
If you are planning to cut long blanks, you should
mount extension brackets 12, adjust them properly
(depending on the blank length) and fix them using
butterfly screws 25 (see fig. 3-4).
Clamp mounting / dismounting (see fig. 5)
In order to fix the blanks properly, mount clamp 13
and fix it using butterfly screw 25 (see fig. 5.1). Adjust
clamp 13 depending on the length and thickness of the
blank (see fig. 5.2).
Changing length of retaining bar (see fig. 6)
• Slacken butterfly screw 25 (see fig. 6.1).
• Shift movable part 32 of retaining bar 8 to the
desired length (see fig. 6.2).
• Tighten butterfly screw 25 (see fig. 6.1).
Replacement of the saw blade (see fig. 7-9, 17)
After prolonged operation, the saw blade
can become very hot, remove it using
gloves. This will also reduce the risk of
injury by the cutting edge.
• Lift the body to the uppermost position
• Slacken fixing screw 33 (see fig. 7.1).
• Shift moving sliding guard cover 6 to the extreme
upper position; plate 34 will move to the direction
shown in fig. 7.2.
• Press spindle lock 35 and manually turn saw blade 7
in order to immobilize it (see fig. 8). While pressing
spindle lock 35, turn off bolt 36 with Allen key 31 (see
fig. 9). Caution: bolt 36 is left-hand threaded.
• Remove the following details from spindle 39: ex-
ternal flange 37, circular saw blade 7 and internal
flange 38 (see fig. 9).
• Using soft brush, clean all details and install on spin-
dle 39: internal flange 38, circular saw blade 7, exter-
nal flange 37 (see fig. 9).
• While pressing spindle lock 35, tighten bolt 36 with
Allen key 31 Release spindle lock 35
• Perform actions shown in fig. 7 in reverse order:
shift sliding guard cover 6 down, plate 34 will move to
its original position Align holes in plate 34 and guard
cover 4, after that drive in screw 33
• Ensure that saw blade 7 does not touch any power
tool elements and can rotate freely
Adjustment of the cutting depth (see fig. 10)
Using bolt 40 and lock-nut 41 adjust the cutting depth
so that saw blade 7 goes into the slit of insert 11 by
max 5 mm in its lowest position
• Loosen lock-nut 41
• Adjust the cutting depth by turning bolt 40 in or out
• Tighten lock-nut 41
Vertical alignment of the body and adjustment of
the 45° tilt (see fig. 11-13)
• Position the body for carriage
• Loosen clamping handle 28 and set the body tilt an-
gle (90° or 45°) Tighten clamping handle 28
• Place the sides of an alignment setsquare 90°
or 45° (depending on the angle to align) to the sur-
face of saw blade 7 and turntable 10 If the setsquare
sides join the surfaces of saw blade 7 and turntable 10
tightly, then alignment is not needed, otherwise you
have to do it
Use bolt 43 and lock-nut 42 for vertical align-
ment of the body (see fig. 11).
Use bolt 44 and lock-nut 45 for adjustment
of the body tilt angle 45° (see fig. 12).
• Loosen clamping handle 28
• Loosen the lock-nut
• Turning the adjustment bolt in or out, make the
sides of the 90° or 45° setsquare (depending on the
angle to adjust) join the surfaces of saw blade 7 and
turntable 10 tightly
• Tighten the lock-nut
• Loosen screws 46 and place indicator 2 to the 0°
(on scale 1) or 45° position (depending on the angle to
adjust), then tighten screws 46 (see fig. 13).
Retaining bar alignment (see fig. 14-15)
• Set the 0° horizontal cutting angle (the procedure is
described below)
• Position the body for carriage
• Place the sides of an alignment setsquare 90° to
the surface of saw blade 7 and retaining bar 8 If the
setsquare sides join the surfaces of saw blade 7 and
retaining bar 8 tightly, then alignment is not needed,
otherwise you have to do it
