• Remove the battery from the power tool. Press and hold the battery release button (7)
and slide out the battery at the same time.
• Slide the battery to the AC charger maximally so that it locks in place.
• Connect the AC charger to the power supply socket.
• When the battery is fully charged, slide it out from the AC charger and slide it in the
power tool so that it locks in place.
Charging indicators
The AC charger has charging indication lights which indicate the status of the charging
process:
LED
Red
Green
• It takes about 1,5 hour to fully charge the power tool.
• AC charger and battery may heat up during charging. It is a normal behavior.
• When power tool is not in use, it is recommended to charge the battery every three
months.
• When you notice that the power tool performance is decreasing, recharge the battery.
WARNING. Switch off the grass trimmer and remove the battery before assembly or
adjustment.
Fitting the protection guard (Fig. 2)
WARNING. It is forbidden to use the grass trimmer without the protection guard in
place!
The protection guard protects the user from the objects ejected during the operation. It has
a blade for cutting the line to the appropriate length. To fit the protection guard follow the
below instructions:
• Turn the grass trimmer upside down.
• Slide the protection guard into the trimmer head housing so that the mounting hole (17)
matches up with the opening in the trimmer head housing.
• Secure the guard by tightening it to the trimmer head with the screw included in the set.
Fitting the wire guard (Fig.3)
To fit the wire guard follow the below instructions:
• Turn the grass trimmer upside down.
• Squeeze the ends of the wire guard (16) and slide them in the mounting holes (19).
