TROUBLESHOOTING

Difficulties experienced with operation of new fans may be
caused by assembly, installation or wiring errors. In some cases
these errors may be mistaken with defects. If a malfunction is
experienced, consult the following troubleshooting guide. If the
problem persists, ask for the help of a qualified electrician and
do not attempt to repair the electrical connections inde-
pendently.
PROBLEM
The fan will not
get started

RECOMMENDED SOLUTION
1. Check the fuses or the circuit breakers
fitted in both the main and derived circuits.
2. Check the wiring of the terminal block,
as instructed in the section titled "Connec-
tion instructions".
CAUTION Make sure that the power
supply has been cut out.
3. Make sure that the fan switch is securely
placed in one of the two required posi-
tions. The fan will not work if the switch is in
central position.
4. If the fan does not get started, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
repair the internal electrical connections.
