The battery pack and the battery charger
are delivered in separate boxes. Please
ensure you have well received these
boxes and check the contents.
INSTALLATION
● Insert the battery pack.
There is no ON/OFF switch: the tool is ready
to operate as soon as a loaded battery pack
is mounted.
● Unplug the battery pack when the tool
is not used.
● Do not leave the battery pack on the
charger when the charger power supply
is off.
TOOL POWER SAVING MODE
Tool display
After 2 minutes, the battery tool
standby
display switches off.
Follow [ H ] (page 9) to switch on
display.
Power off
After 30 minutes, the battery tool
powers off.
Time value settable using
CVIConfig software.
Follow [ I ] (page 9) to restart
tool.

OPERATING MODE
When the tool is powered on, the Desoutter logo
is displayed and the LEDs are blinking.
● Wait for a few seconds while the software is
being initialized.
● Refer to the user manual 6159921030 at
http://resource-center.desouttertools.com to
learn how to set up and use the functionalities
of the software embedded in the tool.
The setup will mainly depend on the joint
hardness and the targeted accuracy.
A pulse tightening is based on a single step
including:
- a Run down speed phase (continuous)
- a Final speed phase (pulse)
The Run down speed phase has an impact on
the first peak amplitude.
The pulse amplitude defines the pulse power. It
has an impact on the torque step between two
consecutive pulses.
