PPE FEATURES
The energy absorber with lanyard is a PPE against falls and it complies with EN 355 standard.
PPE DESCRIPTION
The energy absorber is made of 32mm width polyamide webbing, which is ended with loops at both sides. The body of the
absorber is protected by a special jacket made of a shrinkable, polyethylene tube. One ending of the energy absorber is
connected to a tubolar polyamide webbing with elastic core inside, while the free ending, instead, is ended with an attaching
loop.

PRE-USE INSPECTION
Before each use, a person who is going to use the PPE, has to execute a close visual examination of all components, in order
to check if some mechanical, chemical or thermal defects are present. If some doubt arises about the good condition and the
right functioning of the PPE, it has to be withdrawn from use. Then the PPE must be sent to the device manufacturer or to his
certified representative to carry out a detailed inspection and the eventual repair.
CONNECTING A FALL ARREST SYSTEM
Connect the energy absorber's snap hook to an attaching point of the full body harness,
Connect the lanyard's snap hook to the structural anchor point, with a min. static resistance of 12 kN:
