frost: exercise caution when defrosting the meter,
o
direct solar radiation; the meters must be stored in a dry location below 50 °C.

Installation
•
The meter can be installed either horizontally or vertically; upside down installation (1) should be
avoided.
•
Before installing the meter, the piping should be thoroughly flushed to ensure dirt is removed.
•
Shut main valve or ball valves upstream of or downstream from the meter (2).
•
Remove spacer or old meter including the flat seals (3); clean the fittings.
•
Install the new meter including the new fittings (4).
Caution:
•
Tighten the fittings (5), max. torque 35 Nm.
•
Open main valve or ball valves (6) and check the flat seals.
•
Fit the adhesive seal (7).
•
Read the meter (8) (new and old meter):
Date of installation, current meter reading, production No., product No.
o
Disposal
The relevant national legal regulations must be complied with and the products must be disposed of via the
appropriate channels. Local and currently valid legislation must be observed. Exhausted batteries must be
disposed of through the specified collection points.
