4. Loosen the collet (B) by push down and
turn the spindle lock (H) counterclockwise.
The spindle lock will pop up. Place the
wrench (K) on the flats of the collet (B) and
turn the collet counterclockwise.
NOTE You may need to turn the collet
slightly clockwise or counterclockwise to
get the spindle lock to fully engage
(See Figure 4).
5. Insert a 1/4 in. accessory (J) into the
collet (B). Then tighten the collet using
wrench (K) by turning the collet jacket
clockwise until tight.
NOTE: Do not overtighten the collet jacket
(See Figure 5).
6. To disengage the spindle lock, push down
on the spindle lock and turn it clockwise
until it stops. The spindle should now spin
freely (See Figure 5).
NOTE When a 1/8 in. accessory (D) is to be
fitted, the 1/8 in. collet (B) should be
installed first.
Only use accessories that have an RPM
rating equal to or greater than the tool itself.
Also make sure any accessory is compatible
with the collet opening. Before using tool,
always make sure attachments are properly
mounted/secured. If attachments are not
properly mounted/secured, they can present
a serious hazard and may cause bodily
injury for the operator or anyone in or around
the work area. Always follow the attachment
manufacturer's specifications for properly
attaching accessories to tool.
7. Connect air supply hose to the male plug.
Set the working pressure at 90 PSI for best
tool performance (See Figure 6).
NOTE Working pressure is the amount of air
pressure the tool sees when operating.
