10,000 min
using the electronic speed control
-1
dial (3).
1. Turn the electronic speed control dial to the
required level. The correct setting, however, is a
matter of experience.
2. Generally, harder materials require a higher
setting.
Dust Extraction (Fig. E)
WARNING: Since woodworking with
a sander produces dust, always install
a dustbag designed in compliance with
the applicable directives regarding dust
emission.
WARNING: Do not use a dustbag or
vacuum extractor without proper spark
protection when sanding metal.
1. Fit the dustbag (8) into the frame (7) as shown.
2. Attach the frame (7) to the dust extraction
outlet (11).
3. Turn the assembly clockwise to lock it in
position.
OPERATION
Instructions for Use
WARNING: Always observe the safety
instructions and applicable regulations.
WARNING: To reduce the risk
of serious personal injury, turn
tool off and disconnect tool from
power source before making any
adjustments or removing/installing
attachments or accessories. Be sure
the trigger switch is in the OFF position.
An accidental start-up can cause injury.
WARNING:
• Make sure all materials to be sanded
are well secured.
• Apply only a gentle pressure to the
workpiece. Excessive pressure does
not improve the sanding effect, but
only results in an increased load on
the machine and causes the abrasive
to tear.
• Avoid overloading.
WARNING: Do not sand magnesium!
Proper Hand Position (Fig. G)
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious
personal injury, ALWAYS use proper
hand position as shown.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious
personal injury, ALWAYS hold securely in
anticipation of a sudden reaction.
Proper hand position requires one hand on the front
handle (4), with the other hand on the main handle
(16).
Switching On and Off (Fig. A)
Switching on: press the on/off switch (1).
For continuous operation, also press the lock-on
button (2).
Switching off: press the on/off switch again.
Sanding (Fig. A)
Start with the coarsest grit size.
As the tool produces small scratch marks in all
directions, it is not necessary to sand with the grain.
Check your work at short intervals.
Always switch off the tool when work is finished and
before unplugging.
