NOTICE: Crossbars can cause wind noise. Remove Crossbars when not in use.
Your Crossbars come pre-assembled.
Ensure that the roof side rails
are clean and free from dust
and grease.
Straps are to be extended to
allow easy mounting of the
Crossbars. (Fig 1)
Place the Crossbars onto the
vehicle's roof side rails (note side
rails may have a position marking
on them). Gradually tighten bolts
alternating sides with the security
wrench ensuring straps are
properly engaged and even
tension is achieved. (Fig 2) There
may be the need to guide the strap
into position.
Reverse procedure to remove.
Crossbar's locking end caps may
be removed to access the
accessory T-slot channel. (Fig 3)
Service buffer strips may be
purchased should the buffers
need to be cut around
accessories.
Place Crossbars on the
vehicle at the
recommended
positions shown along
the Roof Side Rails.
( Fig. 4)
REGULARLY CHECK THE TIGHTNESS OF LOCKING STRAPS.
Loads should be evenly distributed and secured
Check the function of all doors and sunroof before driving.
Any weight carried on the vehicle will adversely affect its handling particularly in cornering or in a cross wind and the vehicle should
therefore be driven with increased caution.
