9. OPERATING MODE
It is a device that can be configured to operate in a water supply pressure group, for a sewage
discharge system or for a well pump system. The same device can operate in a single-phase or
three-phase installation and depending on the power supplied it can control and protect 1 or 2
single-phase or three-phase pumps, depending on the input power received.
In 2-pump systems, pumps with the same or different nominal amperage can be configured,
joint operation can be configured through a single activation signal, and start alternation can
be enabled or disabled. All these settings are easily configurable from the configuration menu.
The device has independent amperage control for each phase, therefore protection against
motor overcurrent in each of its phases, as well as protection against dry work by intensity,
with configurable detection sensitivity.
The device has auto reset when a fault occurs due to overcurrent or dry work, which prevents
the installer from acting in the event of a fault.
It has an internal clock with which the activation / deactivation of the pumps or auxiliary relays
can be programmed hourly.
It has an independent fault log per pump with the capacity to store the last 40 faults with time,
date and type of fault recorded, for proper maintenance of the installation.
The device also has an independent operating hours control per pump, also in order to control
the state of the installation and the pumps, as well as the correct operation of the starting
alternation.
9.1) Installation as a pressure group
It allows the activation of 1 or 2 pumps, independently or jointly, with or without starting al-
ternation, through pressure switches or through the pressure transducer signal. To avoid dry
running, in addition to the built-in current protection itself, the system can be selected to stop
through a minimum pressure switch, through a float / level switch or through probes hanging
in the well (in this 2 or 3 well probes can be selected).
In the case of operation by means of a pressure transducer, configurable with a full scale from
1 bar to 40 bar, the starting delay of the auxiliary pump can be configured, in case the main
pump is not capable of exceeding the starting pressure. In any case, the auxiliary pump will
start automatically even if the set delay time has not been reached, if the pressure drops to
half the starting pressure.
9.2) Installation as a sewage lifting system
It allows the activation of 1 or 2 pumps, independently or together, with or without starting
alternation, through buoys / level switches. To avoid running dry, in addition to the built-in
current protection, there is an input for the system's joint stop float.además de la propia protec-
ción por intensidad incorporada se dispone de entrada para boya de paro conjunto del sistema.
9.3) Installation for well pump
Allows the starting of a well pump through a pressure switch or level float signal or probes in
the tank (2 or 3 probes, depending on the desired configuration), and to stop the pump, can be
used 2 or 3 probes in the well. In this case, although it is not usual, the system could operate
in a tank with 2 well pumps in which alternating start-up or joint operation is required, as if it
were a pressure group of external motor pumps.
