Apply a thin layer of glue to the notches on the Leg Assemblies (D and E). Slide the Upper Leg
Assembly (D) into the Lower Leg Assembly (E). Insert #8 x 2" Black Screw (J) and tighten. See
FIGURE 5.

6) Apply glue to inside corner of notches on Stretchers (C). See FIGURE 6.
Insert notches of Stretchers into notches of Leg Assemblies (D and E). See FIGURE 6a.
Insert post of Stretcher Bracket (K) between Stretchers and attach with #8 x 1¼" Machine Screw
(L). See FIGURE 6b. Repeat with remaining stretchers and brackets. When all four Stretchers
are attached, tighten machine screws firmly.
Insert #6 x 3/4" Flat Head Brass Screws (I) through Stretcher Bracket into Stretchers. See
FIGURE 6c.
