These instructions present the way of using this product. Only the most
common types of misuse are shown (drawings crossed out). There are
many incorrect uses that we can neither list nor imagine. In case of doubt
or problems with understanding, please approach Industrias MURTRA
SA.
This product complies with EU Regulation 2016/425 and current
European standards EN795:2012; CEN/TS 16415:2013, and holds CE
certification. It must only be used together with other CE-certified materials.
IDENTIFICATION
SEC-LVHxx is a horizontal lifeline, provisional anchoring device for class
B. Temporary lifeline on 35m wide polyester webbing consisting of a metal
ratchet tensioner (3T), an adjustable webbing and a fixed webbing (both
4.500kgf).
Certified measurements: 10 m, 15m, 20m, y 30 m
USE
SEC-LVH personal protection equipment for temporary use that is used tu
attach a fall arrest system to it to protect against falls from height.
Intended to protect a máximum of 2 users at the same time
This product must not be used beyond its limits or in any situation for which
it is not designed.
This equipment is not fall arrest IPE. However, it can participate os a
component together with other equipment that is part of the fall arrest
systems (according to EN 363:2009).

1 – ATTENTION

Do not use this equipment if you have any doubts about the text or lack
sufficient experience in the manoeuvre to be undertaken.
You personally bear all risks and liabilities for any harm, injury or death that
might occur while using our products in any situation. If you are not qualified
to bear this liability or run this risk, do not use this equipment.
Simply reading this documentation does not qualify you to use this
Individual Protective Equipment correctly or immediately. You must
undergo the necessary theoretical and practical training given by a qualified
instructor.
Working at height is potentially dangerous. Even if the equipment is used
correctly, serious and even fatal accidents can occur.
Hanging inert in a harness can cause serious physical problems or death.
The user must provide for the possibility of needing help if they find
themselves in difficulties while using this product.
Always avoid using this product for activities other than working at height.

If you weigh more than 100 kg, consult Industrias MURTRA SA before
using this SEC LVHxx (it has been tested for 100 kg).
For the user's safety, it is essential that in the case of products sold outside
the first destination country the reseller supplies the instructions for use and
maintenance, regular checks and repair instructions translated into the
language of the country where it is to be used.
2 – HOW TO USE
SEC-LVH, horizontal lifeline must be fixed to fixed anchors with a minimum
resistance of 15 kN (see diagrams).
Check that the tape is properly tensioned.
Verify that the route in the event of a fall is free from
obstacles and cannot be hit by the pendulum effect,
including a safety distance that varies depending on the length of the LVH
(minimum 6 m).
3 – CHARACTERISTICS
SEC-LVHxx is a horizontal lifeline, provisional anchoring device for class
B. Temporary lifeline on 35m wide polyester webbing consisting of a metal
ratchet tensioner (3T), an adjustable webbing, a fixed webbing (both
4.500kgf) and high tenacity poliester yarn (10/3). The two loops are
protected.
Is accordint to EU Regulation 2016/425, and current European standards
EN795:2012; CEN/TS 16415:2013, and holds CE certification.
4 – LIMITATION AND PRECAUTIONS
This product must not be used beyond its limits or in any situation for which
it is not designed.
This product can only be used by qualified, experienced people; otherwise
its use must be under the direct visual supervision of a competent expert.
The user must make sure work is done in a way that reduces the risk of
and the height of any potential falls.
The user must provide for any medical conditions that might affect their
safety as a result of normal use of the equipment and in the event of any
emergency.
Pay attention to any hazards that might arise due to the use of different
items where the safety function of one of them is assured by the safety
function of another, ensuring that they do not interfere with one another.
Verify that the lifeline is not placed on a sharp edge, that it does not suffer
from the risk of touching an electrical conductor cable or any other fluid—
conducting device.
Avoid any contact with sharp objects, rock edges, stones, metal...
