TROUBLESHOOTING
This chapter summarises the most common problems you could encounter with the appliance. If
you are unable to solve the problem with the information below, please contact the company
where the product was purchased.

Not enough heat or

Possible Cause
The iron is unplugged from the
mains electrical supply.
The Temperature Control Dial has
not been rotated from "0"
position.
The Temperature Control dial has
not been rotated to desired
setting.
The Temperature Control Dial has
been set to MIN (the temperature
is not hot enough for producing
steam).
Too little water in Water Tank.
The (vertical) burst of steam
function has been used too often
within a very short period.
The iron is not hot enough.
Too little water in Water Tank.
The Temperature Control Dial is
set out of steam range.
The iron is not hot enough.
The Water Tank is filled over MAX
level.
The Steam Control Switch is not in
correct position.
Steam holes are blocked.
Too little water in the Water Tank.
Not enough pressure or air inside
the pump.
Too little water in the Water Tank.
Possible Solution
Check if the plug is connected to the
mains electrical supply.
Check if the Temperature Control Dial
is in the correct position.
Check if the Temperature Control Dial
is in the correct position.
Set the Temperature Control Dial to a
higher temperature setting.
Fill with water per instructions.
Continue ironing in a horizontal
position and wait a while before using
the (vertical) burst of steam function
again.
Set the Temperature Control Dial to a
higher temperature setting.
Fill with water per instructions.
Set the Temperature Control Dial as
per steam range.
Open steam only after the Indicator
Light goes out.
Pour out the excess water. Use caution
as the water may be hot.
Set the Steam Control Switch to the

Clean steam holes using cotton tip,
moistened with distilled water.
