Disassembling
• Underpinning the engine remove the right support; the belt of
the auxiliary systems and the upper and lower gauge of the
distribution (fig. 1 ref. A - B).
• Remove the bolt of the oil filter chassis (fig. 1 ref. C).
• Rotate the crankshaft pulley until the notch is in the lower
position (fig. 1 ref. D) Control that the camshafts grooves are
aligned vertically (fig. 1 ref. E).
• Insert the crankshaft locking pin (fig. 1 ref. F) and move
slightly the shaft to verify the right positioning.
• Install the lockers (fig. 1 ref. G and H).
• Loosen the bolts of all the crankshaft sprockets
• Loosen the tensioner bolt (fig. 1 ref. L).
• Remove the exhaust camshaft bolts (fig. 1 ref. I), the exhaust
camshaft sprocket (fig. 1 ref. R) and the belt.
Assembling
• Move the shaft to verify the right positioning of the pin.
• Verify the right positioning of the camshaft lockers.
• Assemble the belts as follow:
- midway shaft sprocket
- drive pulley
- aspiration camshaft sprocket
- tensioner pulley
• Locate the belt on the exhaust camshaft sprocket (fig. 1
ref. R) install the sprocket and the belt on the end of the

camshaft. The bolts do not be at the extremity of the slots
(fig. 1 ref. P).
• Rotate the tensioner clockwise until the upper arm (fig. 1 ref.
M) is aligned to the upper edge of the tool (fig. 1 ref. G). Verify
that the bolts are not at the extremity of the slots (fig. 1
ref. P).
• Tighten the tensioner nut (fig. 1 ref. L) with a couple of 25
Nm.
• Tighten the camshaft sprockets bolt (fig. 1 ref. I and Q) with
a couple of 10 Nm.
• Remove the lockers of the cams and the crankshaft ping.
• Rotate the crankshaft clockwise twice.
• Insert the crankshaft locking pin.
• Install the locker for the camshafts (fig. 1 ref. G e H).
• Loosen the camshaft sprocket bolts (fig. 1 ref. I and Q)
• Loosen the tensioner bolt (fig. 1 ref. L).
• Rotate the tensioner until the arms (fig. 1 ref. N) is aligned to
the upper edge of the tool (fig. 1 ref. G). The notch on the
tensioner has to be aligned to the grove (fig. 1 ref. O)
otherwise repeat the operation.
• Tighten the tensioner nut (fig. 1 ref. L) with a couple of 25
Nm.
• Tighten the crankshaft sprockets bolts (fig. 1 ref. I and Q)
awith a couple of 10 Nm.
• Remove the cam and crankshaft lockers.
