Large Format Contour-Cut Process
Step 1: Add contour cut effect to design.
Import or design the project. To create a contour cut line for large format printing, design or import your graphic to
the LXI RIP Design workspace. From the Effects Menu, select Contour Cut.
Use the Offset window to determine the width of the border between the edge of the printed area and the in-
tended cut path. For a full-bleed decal, select a negative value in the offset window. Be sure to click the green
check mark or press the Enter key to apply the settings previewed in Design Central.
Step 2: RIP and PRINT.
Use the File/RIP and Print function or click on the RIP and Print icon. This will launch the RIP and PRINT window, and
will also launch the LXI RIP Production Manager.
