SPEED FUNCTIONS

Rotate the Direct Dial arrow to point to SPEED
In SPEED you will set your approximate Slope Angle
of the terrain you are riding in order to record and track
your average and maximum speeds*!
The Default screen will be Speed MODE.
PRESS MODE to scroll through the modes in SPEED World
They will be the following: SPEED, SET SLOPE,
and RECORDS.
SETTING THE SLOPE FOR RECORDING
PRESS MODE until the display says SLOPE. (5A)
The bottom of the Display will show the last saved Slope
Angle. In the middle of the display, the Slope Angle that
you are currently holding the watch at is displayed.
To Set the Slope, tilt the watch along the 12 to 6 o'clock
axis, pointing the 12 o'clock area of the watch towards the
bottom of the slope. Hold the watch at the approximate angle
of the trail/mountain you are about to ride down.
Once it is about right. (5b)
PRESS START/STOP to lock this angle into the watch.
PRESS MODE to go back to the default SPEED MODE
screen and PRESS to START to record your speed
at this new angle now!
