PROPERTIES OF THE PRODUCT
The detector detects live conductors, ferromagnetic and diamagnetic metal elements as well as wooden
beams in walls. Due to a legible display and easy operation it permits to detect quickly and precisely the
aforementioned elements. Small dimensions and battery power supply imply portability of the device.
ATTENTION! The detector is not a measurement device as construed in the „Measurement Law".
EQUIPMENT
The detector is provided complete and does not require assembly. To ensure correct functioning, it is only
required to install batteries.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Do not operate the detector near strong electromagnetic fields or high-frequency electric signals. Do not use
the detector if the ambient temperature exceeds the working range. In case the detector is stored at a tem-
perature beyond the working range, before you proceed to operate the device it must reach a temperature
within the working range.
Screened conductors, low-voltage signal conductors (CATV, computer conductors) will be detected only as
metal elements. If the detected objects are placed beyond the maximum range of the detector, they will not
be detected.
Avoid operation of the detector on wet or damp surfaces. Objects in metal walls will not be detected.
Do not expose the detector to water, including precipitations. Do not place the device along with other tools
in a tool box. Shocks may damage the detector.
The detector must be transported in the provided case.
In case the detector is stored for a prolonged time, the battery must be removed from the device. Do not store
the detector in a temperature exceeding 60
OPERATION OF THE DETECTOR
Replacement of batteries
Before the first use or if the display indicates the symbol of low battery, a new battery must be installed. In
order to do so, remove the battery compartment cover at the bottom of the device and remove the old battery.
While replacing batteries pay attention to the correct polarity.
ATTENTION! Use only high-quality alkaline batteries.
If the battery indicator is displayed, the maximum operation time is one hour. If the battery indicator is pul-
sating, the maximum operation time does not exceed 10 minutes. If the battery indicator is pulsating and
the detection indicator is illuminated then the device cannot be operated anymore and the battery must be
replaced.
Turning the detector on and off
ATTENTION! Before the detector can be turned on, make sure the sensor area is not wet. Otherwise the
sensor must be wiped with a soft cloth.
In order to turn the detector on, press any button.
In case the wood or metal detection button is pressed, the detector will start immediately in the selected
operation mode. In case the switch of the „ZOOM" button is switched, the detector will start in the mode
selected before it had been turned on last time.
In order to turn the device off, press the switch.
Five minutes after any last button was pressed the device will turn off automatically. This permits to prolong
life of batteries.
In case the metal detection mode is switched on, the display indicated the automatic calibration symbol.
Operation may be commenced only if next to the indicator a symbol of concluded calibration has been
displayed.
Detection of metal elements
Press the metal detection button, after which the symbol from the button will be displayed and the detection
indicator will be backlit green. Put the detector on the surface and move it. In case a metal element is de-
tected the amplitude of measurement will increase. Where the measurement indicator indicates the highest
value, the metal element lies precisely below the sensor of the detector. In case a metal element is detected,
