Error Message: RAM – CHECKING FOR SEGMENT . . .
Cause: Indicates an error in the RAM module.
Action: Change the malfunctioning RAM module.
Error Message: SYSTEM HALTED, (CTRL–ALT–DEL) TO REBOOT
Cause: Indicates the present boot attempt has been aborted and the system must be
rebooted.
Action: Press <CTRL> + <ALT> + <DEL> keys simultaneously.
WARNING: If the CD-ROM drive has a problem, in order to avoid electric
shock and harm to your eyes by laser light, do not open the laser
module. The laser module should be serviced by a qualified
service personnel only. Do not attempt to make any adjustment
to the laser unit. The wavelength is 780nm. This CD-ROM drive
is a class 1 laser product.
