ACCESSORIES
Honeycomb louvres can be used to pre-
vent glare with a 30-50% reduction in the
luminous flux. They must be fi tted when
the reflector is mounted.
1 Fit the louvre onto the IOS reflector
(fig.3

2 Insert the reflector with louvre into the
optical compartment (fig.3
3 Press and turn the reflector with louvre

INSTALLATION/
REPLACEMENT OF
REFLECTORS AND LIGHT
SOURCES
The luminaire can be fitted with two types
of light source: LED and metal halide

After installation of the projector and
before powering the system, install or re-
place the refl ector and light source.

• For metal halide lamps:
Metal halide lamps MT/UB G8.5 – G12,
20/35/50/70W
Remove the safety reflector by turning
it anti-clockwise (fig.4);
insert/replace the lamp (with one of
equal rating as the ballast, see rating
plate);
re-engage the reflector correctly by

N.B. Always check the safety glass for
intactness and for perfect fitting on the
locking ring
Warning: when the lamp is dying – i.e. the
luminous fl ux is decreasing – it must be
replaced to prevent serious damage to the
control gear.
Turn the electricity off at
the mains and follow the
