Electromagnetic Interference Caution

This Fingertip pulse oximeter is not designed for use in environments in which the
pulse can be obscured by electromagnetic interference. During such interference,
measurements may seem inappropriate or the device may not seem to operate
correctly.

Electromagnetic Environment

The PULSE OXIMETER is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in
which radiated RF disturbances are controlled. The customer or user of the PULSE
OXIMETER can help prevent electromagnetic interference by maintaining a mini-
mum distance between portable and mobile RF communications equipment (trans-
mitters) and the PULSE OXIMETER as recommended below, according to the maxi-
mum output of the communications equipment.
Warning:
PULSE OXIMETER should not be used adjacent to or stacked with other equipment
and that if adjacent or stacked use is necessary, PULSE OXIMETER should be
observed to verify normal operation in the configuration in which it will be used.
