When you watch TV with it connecting to a Home theater, turn the TV speakers off so
you can listen to sound from the Home theater's (external) speakers.

External Speaker: Uses the external speakers(Home Theater) to output sound.

TV Speaker: Uses the TV speakers to output sound.
If you select External Speaker in the Select Speaker menu, the sound settings will

be limited.

When the PIP feature is activated, you can listen to the sound of the sub (PIP) picture.
Main: Use to listen to the sound of the main picture.

You can select this option when PIP is set to On.

Connecting Headphones (Sold separately)
You can connect a set of headphones to your set if you wish to watch a TV program without disturbing other people in the
room.
When you insert the headphone's plug into the headphone jack, you can Multi-Track Sound (in

TV mode),
Auto Volume and Sound Select (in PIP mode) in Sound menu.
Prolonged use of headphones at a high volume may damage your hearing.

You will not hear sound from the speakers when you connect headphones to the TV.

The headphone volume and TV volume are adjusted separately.
