Malfunction
Sensor-switched light without
power
Sensor-switched light will not

Cause
M Fuse has tripped, not switched ON,
break in wiring
M Short circuit in mains power supply
lead
M Any mains switch off
M Incorrect twilight setting selected
M Mains switch OFF
M Fuse has tripped
M Continuous movement in the
detection zone
M Sensor-switched light installed on
a surface exposed to vibration
M Movement occurred, but not
identified by the observer (move-
ment behind wall, movement of
a small object in immediate lamp
vicinity etc.)
M Rapid movements are being
suppressed to minimise
malfunctioning or the detection
zone you have set is too small
M Mains power supply lead
connected the wrong way round
(L and N)
M Rechargeable battery faulty
(insufficient capacity or break in
battery supply cable)
M Sensor-switched luminaire not
connected
M Sensor-switched luminaire faulty
M Supply voltage faulty
M Emergency light control gear faulty
M No mains power
M Mains power has been interrupted

Remedy
M Activate, change fuse, turn ON
mains switch, check wiring with
voltage tester
M Check connections
M Switch on mains power switch
M Adjust setting
M Switch on
M Activate, change fuse,
check connection if necessary
M Check zone
M Securely mount enclosure
M Check zone
M Check zone
M Check connections L and N or
test phase
M Wait for battery to recharge
(alarm is reset as soon as the
fault is rectified).
M Connect sensor-switched
luminaire
M Replace sensor-switched
luminaire
M Check mains power and make
sure it is switched ON
M Replace emergency light control
