1. PREPARATION FOR USE
1.1 Open the door of the built-in socket and insert
the built-in plug of the steam hose (1), pressing
the specific button and making sure that the
hooking pin is inserted perfectly in the specific
locking hole on the socket, as indicated in the
steam-generator manual.
2. CONNECTION OF ACCESSORIES
All steam cleaning and disinfection kit accesso-
ries can be connected directly to the handle of
the steam hose or extension tubes as follows:
• Move the locking button on the accessory to
the OPEN position (2).
• Attach the required accessory to the hand gun
or to the extension tube (2).
• Move the locking button back to the position
CLOSED. (2).
• Check that the locking button has engaged
and the accessory is fully connected.
3. STEAM ADJUSTMENT
You can optimise the steam flow by means of
the steam adjustment knob. To increase the
flow, turn the knob anti-clockwise. Turning
clockwise reduces the flow. Here are some tips
for regulating it:
• Maximum
level:
to
stains, grease and to sanitise;
• Medium level: for hard floors, carpets, rugs
and glass;
• Minimum level: for delicate flooring, for stea-
ming plants, cleaning delicate fabrics, wall co-
verings, sofas, parquet, etc.;
4. CLEANING FLOORS
Before using the appliance on delicate surfaces,
ensure that the part in contact with the surface
is free from foreign bodies that could cause
scratches.
4.1 Make sure that Chapter 1 has been followed
and connect the accessories as indicated in
Chapter 2.
4.2 Connect the extension tubes to the steam
hose and the floor brush to the extension tubes.
4.3 Release the floor brush by placing a foot on
the symbol
(4) and pulling up.
4.4 Attach the cloth included to the Polti
Vaporflexi floor brush by inserting one end of

the floor brush into the pocket of the cloth (5),
then insert the second end of the brush into the
second pocket of the cloth (6).
4.5 With the extension tubes push the floor
brush downward in order to lock it (7), possibly
using a foot.
4.6 Adjust the intensity of the steam by turning
the adjustment knob; for this type of surface we
recommend Medium level steam (12).
4.7 Deactivate the steam lock (3) and continue
with steam delivery, pressing the steam trigger
on the handle of the steam hose (3).
4.8 Clean the floors by moving the brush.
The brush includes a small brush which is ideal
for removing the most stubborn stains. To use,
turn the small brush (8), then tilt the extension
tubes so that the bristles touch the floor and
loosen the dirt (9).
At the end of the cleaning operations, the cloth
can be removed by pressing with a foot on the
special symbol
and pulling the extension
tubes upwards to release and open the brush.
Before removing the cloth from the brush, wait
a few minutes to allow the cloth to cool.
WARNING: Do not use the appliance without
the cloth.
WARNING: For additional safety, test steam
delivery on a hidden part, leave the steamed
part to dry to ensure that no changes in colour
or deformations have occurred.
5. CLEANING RUGS AND CARPETS
WARNING: Before cleaning fabrics with steam,
consult the manufacturer's instructions and
always carry out a test on a hidden part or on a
sample of the material. Allow the steamed part to
dry to make sure that no changes in colour or
deformations have occurred.
5.1 Make sure that Chapter 1 has been followed
and connect the accessories as indicated in
Chapter 2.
5.2 Connect the extension tubes to the steam
hose and the floor brush to the extension tubes.
5.3 Place the cloth in the frame (10). Then insert
the Polti Vaporflexi floor brush in the cloth
placed in the frame, continuing as described in
Point 4.4.
5.4 With the extension tubes push the floor
brush downward in order to lock it (7), possibly
using a foot.
5.5 Adjust the intensity of the steam by turning
the adjustment knob (12); for this type of surface
we recommend Medium level of steam.
5.6 Deactivate the steam lock (3) and continue
with steam delivery, pressing the steam trigger
on the handle of the steam hose (3).
5.7 Run the brush over the surface moving it
backward and forward (11). At the end of the
